Sorry to hear that!
No one hurt.
Slammed into our Beloved Toyota Tacoma and our '89 Buick that all our friends called "the Limo" and all loved riding in it.

Totaled her Toyota and it landed on the lawn across the street.
She took off running,, neighbors convinced her to face the music.
Ring cameras told the tale when she lied in court about everything your could possibly dream up.

The Buick totaled too after I had to bootleg a AC system into it that worked amazing, it's parts no longer available, then put a monster radiator on it. Always easily passed smog checks, got great fuel economy, ran great, good 113F desert crossing 'Vegas car.

Her GEICO insurance was difficult to deal with so our AAA picked up the tab and collected from GEICO for us.

Took over a month to get it settled and the wrecks sat in front of the house all that time.
Passers by would come and knock on the door to tell us,,, "do you know,,,"

Damn, that’s terrible! I used to have an 87 Buick Century that I loved until some lady in a lifted jeep decided to run over the corner of it.

When the Mazda Miata was first announced in the 80s, I was so excited about it that I carried an article about it in my wallet. I had always wanted one but it was never in the cards. Well I finally bought one 5 years ago, and 2 months after I bought it someone smashed into it while it was parked in front of my house. Hit and run. Witness saw a red GMC pickup but didn’t get the plate.

I got the Miata repaired and it’s a blast to drive, but it’s not quite like it was once. The repair shop did a pretty crappy job and I ended up paying more to fix their bad work. That was an excuse for upgrades though, lol.

Daughter got excellent report cards and I got her a Miata for her 16th birthday.
Loved that car but was it ever tiny.
She put well over 250.000 miles on it.

haha, ya they are little. I have an 2012 (NC aka mk3 aka 3rd gen aka boat) so it’s slightly less tiny, but I barely fit in it. Flying Miata exhaust, Racing Beat sways, Koni yellow adjustable struts with Progress springs. Konig wheels and summer tires. It’s a special edition in white with a black powered hard top and black side mirrors.

And you’re in Cali? Seems we have a few things in common.

Daughter joined a South Bay Miata Club that got a special deal on parts and on crate motors.
$900 for the new motor. Why not?
Sat in our storage shed for a decade.
She eventually sold the car. She got a separate $3K for the Crate motor.
