'23 MME delivered May '23 + '22 Lightning July '22
I was a part of both the Bronco and Lighting rollouts. The fact that Scout had cut out the dealerships from the equation is progress. I have hope it will be much better.
Yes, this would be such a huge change for the consumer!

I hated that I had to find dealers far away that would not charge ADM (markup) on top of the MSRP.

'22 Lightning - 2 counties away for $0 ADM.
'23 Mach E - 2 counties away for $0 ADM.

Shame that I had to pass by 6+ Ford dealers all trying to gouge the customer.

R1S on order
Love that the Scout is bigger than the Rivian. R1T is a little too small inside.

Near full size interior with bench seats in the Traveler is music to my ears.

Have we heard if the rear of the SUV will have seats that fold flat to the floor? That's a feature I have now and I really don't want to lose that as it's great to stretch out in for kid camping, picnics, drive-ins, etc.

The rear bench seat in Traveler will probably fold just like the Terra's -- folds up to give full access to the flat floor.

Jamie at Scout Motors has said that the Scout's legroom and headroom space is closer to F-150 than the Rivian R1T 🙌
Is this just for the Terra or for both?

Does R1T have more headroom than F-150? 41.1" vs. 40.8"?

Roof configurations can make a difference - I assume Scout w/ steel roof will have kind of a vaulted ceiling with the most headroom? Fixed glass would lose headroom due to motorized shade, and who knows w/ cabana...?

Doesn't look like the Cabana nor Glass Roof lose much headroom. Both roofs look vaulted as well 👍

Great photos, thanks.

I'd bet the plain steel roof doesn't have the framing you see around the cassettes for the glass roof & cabana - those things tend to lower the perimeter around the edge of the ceiling and often scratch the top of my head (tall sitting height). So a plain steel roof often has a more 'vaulted' ceiling than the others as the arc begins at the top of the doors, without any framing.

Guess I won't know the headroom impact until I sit it in them.

Isn't the glass roof supposedly coming w/ mechanical shade vs. electrochromic glass? Don't see any indication of that shade in photos.

Happen to have any photos of the driver's door/armrest? I'm curious what the driver's window switches look like. I assume there's no ID.4 'Rear' stupid-shi*show going on.

Here's the driver's door, armrest, window switches, side mirror adjustment knob.

Agree, I'm confident in the ordering being no fuss, that's the easy part. The hard part will be delivery. Will the QC be strong enough that I'm not opening tickets because panel gaps prevent things from closing correctly? Will my passenger door need to be adjusted 3-4 times so it can be closed on the first try by a passenger?
VW is involved, this ups the manufacturing quality significantly!!
