Hi, in researching this topic, I haven't found any good guidelines for my question, "If I purchase an out of state new vehicle such as a Scout, will that dealer be able to register and pass onward the state taxes via reciprocity (or otherwise) to the state and register there as well?"
Say, for states that have archaic dealership rules preventing direct purchasing, will this be an obvious work around? A deal killer for me is paying sales taxes twice and wanted to hear of real-world experiences along these lines. Thanks for reading.
