Because the majority of Americans are Trump supporters and when he tells them not to buy EVs because he’ll be removing charging stations, they’ll listen. He doesn’t like EVs, ergo MAGA’s won’t either.

GSA, which manages buildings owned by the federal government, is planning to shut down all of its electric vehicle chargers nationwide, describing them as “not mission critical.” The agency, which manages contracts for the government’s vehicle fleets, is also looking to offload newly purchased EVs.
The Federal Center here in Denver will be shutting some down as early as next week.
The tax credit has been reduced from 7,500 to 3,500. Colorado gave a date of Jan. 1, 2029 when the credit will end.

Where do you think this will all end up? EVs being banned? That seems extreme but maybe not anymore?
