I love this review so much I just upped my reservation to one of each Scouts. I really wish they surprise us and get production started before 2027! Especially since Trump is looking to get rid of all EV credits soon.
https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/credits-for-new-clean-vehicles-purchased-in-2023-or-after

It cant end until 2032, all he can do is reduce it which is impossible with Elon Musk on the cabinet. The most Trump can do is kill its funding. And thats the Federal Tax credit.

https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/advice/state-ev-tax-credits

The states can implement their own EV tax credit. Which some states have already done since they are in panic mode like most of you here, about the credit.

Hmmm I have read some quotes attributed to Elon Musk indicating he would not be adverse to dropping the Tax Credits.

Maybe as a personal matter he does, but as a business owner and CEO of a huge company that got a lot of business from it i highly doubt he does.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has said that he would like to get rid of all tax credits for electric vehicles (EVs):

  • In December 2024, Musk said, “I think we should get rid of all credits” in response to a question about the $7,500 tax credit for EVs passed by Democrats in 2022.

  • In July, Musk said that ending the tax credit would hurt Tesla sales, but would be "devastating" to its U.S. EV competitors.

Well with the biden administrations past actions to block everything an incoming better president wants to do i would be shocked if he doesn’t put a protection in place on the EV tax credit.

Elon makes most of his wealth from SpaceX, not from Tesla sales. He is cozy with Trump now because he wants more govt contracts for SpaceX endeavors, as well as more power for his ego. Just saying the obvious.

Guess what you’re not a billionaire. If i was i would be doing the same stuff he is. Thats how entrepreneurs are they need their ego to be fed.

I disagree with your position. He is the richest man on the planet, on any given day. He controls a media empire in X, controls probably more communication satellites than most if not all countries. That is an awful lot of power to be in one man’s grasp. I personally know billionaires who are freakishly bright inventors who don’t require the amount of ego strokes and power that Elon does.

I know plenty of billionaires my self, and most are boosted Ego needers. Your “billionaires” must be millionaires if they don’t need a good ego boost done end of story. Don’t Reply back i dont feel like arguing with you anymore.
