I have two friends ones a tesla owner and the other owns a R1S 2024. I had the opportunity to mess around with both software for about a day each. I can firmly say that Rivian software is better than Tesla. I feel its more simple than Teslas.

Mind you i don't own or drive any EVs.

Rivian UI and infotainment software is second only to Tesla and they are committed to improving it. Scout is in good hands if they base their vehicles on this platform.

Consumer reports rates Rivian as least reliable car maker. I don’t know if this is soft related.

They do have #1 for Owner satisfaction though.
