Also, the LED lights should have the Spotlight/floodlight component integrated so they can be used for off-road use but also then as additional lighting for either Amber or ambient lightingI would agree with the statement if they could make a roof rack with and without the LED lights and the satellite antenna. something more like a platform like Prinsu Makes that can support a rooftop tent or greater weight directly to the frame. Also, maybe more streamline as this car will likely be very quiet and it would be a bummer to have a lot of wind noise through your glass roof…
It's still too early to know for sure, but considering the prototype they had at CES had a roof rack with the cabana top I would assume that option should be doable with any roof choice.Does anyone know if the roof rack will be an option with the glass roof? not looking to put a heavy RTT on up there just a couple roam boxes
As of right now the glass is fixed and the steel will probably just be a solid roof. Not that they couldn't change it between now and when they are ready to start production in a couple years. As far as noise no real way of knowing until they are in production and people can drive them around to find out and review. I would guess sound wise the cabana top would be similar to your JL with the sky top to a degree. The other thing to keep in mind is these will be fixed tops unlike Jeep and Bronco with removable tops so there won't be any wind noise coming from the top of the windshield where the removable tops seal to. Because of that I would also guess aerodynamics wise on the Scout cabana top option there will be less overall wind noise compared to a jeep sky top because the overall roof structure is fixed to the rest of the body. Will the steel roof and Glass roof option have some kind of sunroof/opening ? or will the cabana option be the only one that has the capabilities of opening. Also would be interested to see what the inside cabin noise level differences across all 3. I've had a JL with the sky top, JL with the hard top, and now my bronco with the MIC Hardtop.

Yeah, I used to have jeeps for years and then traded in my JK when I was finally able to buy my Bronco. Most likely I'll just add and will have the Scout as my daily driver, but that may change depending on the cost once we get closer and can start playing around with a build and price on Scout's website.Great information. Looks like you have a bronco
