Been on the sidelines watching for the "right EV" model for us. The Scout EREV option finally tipped the scales

Hi All,

I had resolved years ago to drive my 2012 Audi A6 3..0T (going strong at 200k ;-) ) until I could buy an EV that excites me. Scout with the EREV option has finally done it. I got my reservation in on 10/27/24 and I can not wait. I just purchased my spouse a '25 GLE450e with 60miles pure EV capability and are already enjoying that. Hoping for more strong hybrid offers.

We live in central NY state and it gets really cold here so a pure EV charged only between 20-80% to keep the battery healthy would likely only get 60% of the listed range and good power backup option is a must until batteries get better.
