I have KO3’s on my Sequoia. They’re much more road oriented A/T’s than one would believe from profile pictures. The Scorpion A/T’s are not the best tire, but the impact on range should be roughly the same. Plus, OEM versions of tires are hardly ever the same as aftermarket. The OEM Falken AT4W thAT come on TRD Pro Tundras are not the same compound as true AT4W.

If it is they wont sell many. Very small market for any kind of EV with less than 200 miles. That ship has sailed.
Well Scout has already confirmed at the reveal event to people who went that the Harvester battery will inly get 150 EV. And the other 350 from the Harvester.

Not exactly accurate. They said the harvester will kick in at 150 range, not run out.
You’re not exactly accurate. I have DMs from Jamie from Scout saying that it will only have 150miles from battery.

Well then that is the first strike against it getting to market in any meaningful way. Shame.
You’re not the one who did market research they did. Obviously they have enough data and evidence that it will sell. And most reservation holders are opting for the Harvester so sadly you’re Wrong.

Jeez I bet you're fun at parties.

Market research does not always provide accurate criteria (VW buzz) and initial pre sales is no indicator of long term sales figures (cybertruck). They need to win in 2027 with a vision that leads the market and not settling to satisfying todays early adopters.

Thats what they researched was future. Thats normally how market research works.

Cybertruck didn’t sell well because of its stupidly high price.

And the ID buzz was just a failure all around, no DTC, really high dealership markups, its crappy range(which both Scouts powertrain options beat out), and its limited production.

As an MD of one the largest marketing consultants in the world who advises groups far larger than Scout or VW, I will politely agree to disagree.

Appreciate the OP though, lets hope for something good!

I agree to disagree on what you said, about Scout and VW.

VW is a lot larger than you think when you consider all of its brands.

And just because they might have a smaller market research division doesn’t mean they can’t get the same results your Largest Marketing Consultant company gets.

Any way, lets hope for the best for on however it goes. Especially since their highly reasonable price and DTC model is what drawing in buyers.

Wow. Didn’t realize trying to have a discussion about battery pack size could lead to an adult trying to belittle someone.

Have fun, I’ll move on.

Lets move on.

Also there was no belittling going on. Just disagreeing with each other in discussion. Which people obviously don’t like when a mechanic tries to make points. So if anything everyone is belittling the mechanic here for being a blue collar job and not a white collar.
