That's a very comprehensive list of basic functions already so I'd be happy with that list too.

Would also like to see a navigation function where you can plot our destination and send it to the car's nav.
Something like BaseCamp for garmin would be great!

The one feature I use regularly is maps on my phone and then the ability to share it with the car. Once you are in the car the destination shows on your navigation screen. I do know that will be useless if you have Android Auto or Apple Car Play. I am used to Tesla's navigation system now and find it convenient.

We have a Toyota, during the cold we will auto start it problem is as soon as you open a car door or rear hatch to get the snow brush out to scrape off the car, it stops.

Scout please do not do that. Have it stay on, defrosting and warming up, while I scrape the snow and ice off.

It would be cool to be able to extend the info center functionality to the app. I am thinking of controlling the audio system to use external bluetooth/WiFi speakers.

Since these new Scouts are a complete ground-up EV platform, the Scout app should be able to do a lot, like Tesla's does. What does everyone expect at the very least in terms of functions? What about reach / hope functions?

For me the Scout phone app should at very least do:

- end-to-end purchase process (including applying for financing, uploading required documents, scheduling delivery)
- phone as a key (PAAK)
- turn vehicle on
- open close windows
- set temperature / climate control
- flash lights
- honk horn
- schedule charging and preheating
- display all basic vehicle info (mileage, tire pressure, last trip data)
- schedule service / repairs
- chat with customer service

Hope functions:

- warn you when there's "Sentry Mode" events occurring
- load live camera views from vehicle
- ability to speak via vehicle's external speakers
- summon vehicle to you
I’d like everything you’ve mentioned. We heat and cool the PHEV we have all year long via the app. Start charging too.

if I could ‘vent’ the windows to a set 2 inches down and vent the pano roof via the app I would. Rain sense on its own to close.

many may not want all this but buyers under 35 and in more countries want all of this and more.

Big 3 sales in other countries used to be ‘luxury’ but that was then, with no competition. Now a connected vehicle it’s what’s next.
