Curious why the screens inside the orange SUV shows a blue truck 🙂. In any case, software looks polished enough that they could've done a controlled demo at launch. Anyone knows if this software stack already benefits from Rivian's arrangement with VW, or if future Scout software will have that?

Hah didn't even catch that unti you mentioned it. Reason probably cuz it's still a preproduction software version. They may be polishing up even more before showing a demo. THey've got years of teasers and info to release slowly to keep people interested so I'm sure they purposely held some stuff out from the reveal.

This quick look shows that it's clearly running Rivian's full software stack / OS already. Question is how much forking off / differences we'll see in the production Scout models.

Not sure if I'd conclude it is running "Rivian's full software stack", since Scout's been in development for a while now, and Rivian's VW arrangement was more recent. I wonder if Scout's OS is yet another Android-based OS similar to Rivian's. I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if Rivian's VW arrangement/JV was already so far ahead in such a short period of time. So I'm a bit more skeptical, unless someone with hard facts can confirm it is otherwise.

Those look like a hourglass and a lock icon though, which wouldn't make sense for performance and eco modes?

The upper left icon looks like a spray bottle so my guess is a screen lockout mode for cleaning. For the one below it my only guess is some sort of valet mode?

Hoping that CAMP mode has the Level Truck feature in the Terra... I'm new to the EV world and these Rivian based features seem like a great starting point. Would be neat to have a manual 4-corner button cluster to play with each airbag independently.

I’m assuming that would require air suspension. If so, that’s not going to happen here.

I thought both mechanical and air were going to be options according to the YouTube launch presentation? It seems that the prototypes on location at the reveal were only mechanical, while Scott Keogh mentions air suspension in his presentation. I know all of this is so new and subject to lots of change, but I'm personally wanting air ride if it's a choice come 2027.
