With the Scout’s being released in 2027, have you cancelled any reservations? I recently Cancelled my R2 reservation due to I recently leased a Ford Escape for the next 3 years.
Similar Ford experience. Was a Lightning reservation holder too and cancelled when Ford put the vehicle on its exclusion list for X-Plan Partner pricing. I was eligible for that through my employer and it was a requirement of mine to avoid market and other markups. I cancelled online and within a few hours the sales guy from the dealer called. I explained a non-negotiation transaction was a requirement (don't mind paying full MSRP but not doing markups or adjustments of any kind) and that shut down the conversation.I had a reservation for a cybertruck that I cancelled when I saw one in person and I saw the updated pricing...
I also had a reservation for a Lightning and was at the dealer ready to place my order but I had a PIN from a family member and the dealer actually said they weren't going to sell it to me at a reduced price. I cancelled my reservation sitting there in the dealership. (I'm obviously glad to hear Scout will be dealer-less).
Here's to hoping the 3rd time is the charm!
100% does countDoes Ram Ramcharger count? I cancelled on that.
how do you know your reservation number? My Cybertruck reservation ended after the Scout reveal. I'm like 381 on the Scout list so should be a beta tester. I did however drive the Cybertruck and the steer by wire feature is THE party trick for that vehicle. That's not enough to get me to buy one but it is the way of the future. The Traveler will be my next vehicle if the price is near the estimates and I can get one in early 2027. I also have a Rivian RS2 reservation and that is an option if Scout looses momentum and has difficulties getting off the ground.
you can check it up on Scout Motors websitehow do you know your reservation number?
Does Jeep allow you to extend your lease by a year? The lease on my ‘23 Rubicon 4xe (which I currently can’t charge due to the battery recall) is up in ‘26. I’m going to have to make a decision then about what I do. Outside of the battery issue, it’s been the best vehicle/most fun that I’ve owned as an adult.
(Not political; fact for me) If the new administration does away with the rebates and incentives, I don’t think I will be able to afford the new Scout. Hoping things don’t change too much.
I know which Pin you are talking about. Crazy Ford didn’t allow that at first. I don’t even know if they still do. Hope the Scout works out for you!I had a reservation for a cybertruck that I cancelled when I saw one in person and I saw the updated pricing...

Lyrics are very very nice. How’s it been to own thus far?I have done both. I cancelled a CT reservation, and just took out a 2 year lease on the Cadillac Lyric. Should be just in time for my Scout to come in.
