Other than the optional 3rd row seating - the specs of the Traveler is a lot closer to the specs of a 2025 Z71 Tahoe than a Bronco or Wrangler. Very similar length, wheelbase, width, and height. This is not surprising, Scout said the vehicle would be a full sized SUV. It appears to also be priced in the same range as the Tahoe.

We tend to want to think it is in the Jeep/Bronco range because that is what many of us wanted. If they do make a Wrangler/Bronco sized one, that would be interesting. Hard to say how much it they would eat each other's market share. Likewise, Not really sure why they built it the size of a Tahoe without offering an optional 3rd row - other than perhaps they looked at both sales and use, and found the 3rd row either not popular, or practically useless.

This is perfect. Just as I'm taking delivery of my Traveler I'll have to put in a reservation for the new 2 door, removable top model. My wife did say to reserve both the Terra and the Traveler so this might just work out! :like:

The Traveler is Tahoe sized. I might be more interested in a 4dr Wrangler/Bronco sized vehicle. That said, unless their factory is set up to easily transfer between models - having a midsized, small full sized, and full size (and maybe even a large full sized) will cause a lot of internal completion between models. It's one thing to have 2 models, 4 is a bit more iffy.

My wag would be a mid-sized. It opens up an almost completely different market. Sadly it is not a market I am interested in personally.

Same here.a Travel all rebirth would be cool
I know it probably wouldn't play in today's market, but a true station wagon would be wild -- the images when you Google the old Travelall are amazing. Kinda bummed I was born too late for the Age of Wagon.

Not sure about the size. Without the spare tire on the back, isn’t the Traveler about 20” shorter than a Tahoe. The Traveler will be considered a midsize SUV.

While true about Stellantis, the Bronco was supposed to wipe up the Wrangler too, but it didn't happen. For 2025, the Bronco is pretty much a mall crawler now.

I still think EV for off roading is a non starter (preception-wise). A 2-door removable top ORV is a unique animal. There are perceived quality issues that come with such a compromised design. The Bronco suffered greatly from it. Mall crawler owners have a difficult time accepting the extra road and wind noise that a removable top (and doors) design brings.
We own a bronco with a hardtop, and have never had such problems at all. I understand it’s OK for you to hate on bronco, but I have to correct your statements about the quality comments that you’ve made in several places on this forum about hardtops. That’s just not true about the hardtop on the bronco having such quality issues. I’ve taken my bronco down roads that only a hard-core SUV could get through. So I don’t know what compromise you’re talking about. There are bronco clubs that do these hard-core roads every week in America. There’s a rollbar on the top of the bronco, so when you take the hardtop off you drive around safely in a convertible in mother nature. It’s just awesome! Ford doesn’t even make the hardtop. They contract it out to a well known vendor. It probably would be the same vendor that Scout would use for their potential hardtop models. If you don’t like the hardtop, why don’t you just buy a Scout that doesn’t come that way which is how they are first offering them. And we have never even taken our bronco to the mall. Ford had problems getting microchips for the Broncos just like a bunch of other manufacturers. I never read anywhere that Ford bronco was supposed to wipe up jeeps. There’s a lot of Jeep fanatics out there and there’s nothing wrong with that. But there’s also a lot of bronco fans. Just like there are a lot of scout fans. I happen to love the old Broncos and scouts. That’s why I’m here. Do you work for Scout in anyway?? I just don’t understand your hatred of wanting to have a hardtop Scout that’s offered In the future.

That's what I thought the Terra was until the specs came out. It might be too big for what I want.
I bet that third Scout model that they have covered up is a two door. I bet that one would work for you!

@Efthreeoh You COULDN’T just say, “ My bad. I’m sorry I’m very negative in every comment I leave in the forum. And I challenge everybody. I’ll stop doing that. Sorry about that.” You couldn’t just reply back and do that could you!!

Because you don’t want a hardtop Scout, because you already have a Bronco with a hardtop and you think it’s noisy. You don’t want a powerful Scout, you want one that’s wimpy because your Hummer is already powerful. And on and on and on. Negative negative negative. Well, I’m done with you trolling me. Say whatever you want. Reply whatever you want. You’re not hooking me in. I’m done.
