Scout vehicles will come with:
4-year, 48,000-mile comprehensive warranty
7-year, 100,000-mile electric drivetrain warranty
8-year, 100,000-mile high-voltage battery warranty

Scout also intends to offer extended warranties.

Oh, OK. Why not combine the drivetrain and battery for 8 years?

That way, we can own it for 8 years before trading it in.

Seven years is the maximum amount of finance most are willing to pay.
