The 6G Bronco looks more like a Scout than these renders...

The first set look more like a Rover than anything else, and the front bumper comes down way to low, as does the rear. They're tucked in close, but too low to have any hope of putting the tires on an obstacle taller than a cinder block.

The second set look like someone tried to make a trophy truck or a Ultra 4 4600 racer with a Scout II body, Not really something streetable.

I'm hoping for something that looks pretty close to a stock Scout II myself. That'll reel me in:)
Completely agree. That is one reason we were turned on to the 6G Bronco in the first place, it reminds my wife of the Scout II she drove in high school.

I hope this doesn't turn out like what GM did to the new Blazer. 🤮

Like the SUV, don't care much for the pickup. (and I drive a pickup)
Really interested in the wheel base.
If anybody finds out please post.
Agreed, something about the pickup is wrong. I think it's the rear door window, looks ok on the suv, not on the pickup.

I always liked the scouts, though they were rare where I grew up. But then I liked the Bronco because of them. So when the new Bronco came out, and it looked way more like the early 70s ones, I was hooked!

Unless the new Scout looks retro like the original Scout, and is a convertible like the original Scout, then I'm out.

Looking at the renderings, I'm not holding my breath. Too modern looking and rounded. It should be square.

Well, I can dream.

The same styling would be great but my biggest wish for the new one is that it be as capable as the original or more capable. I'm not opposed to a few modern updates that bring a little more comfort to the table.

@Scout , i see you're a master vag tech. I've got three T-Regs, all gas powered. Two VR6s and one V8. Out of the two which would you say is the better/more reliable engine?
