Before the new Ford Bronco was revealed years ago, I was in the process of making this.
Here is a rendering I did of an old 1969 scout 800 on top of a 1998 s10 2 door blazer chassis.
An old scout with modern touches and drivetrain.
Lighting
-LED headlights with integrated turn signals
-LED tailights
-flush mounted LED marker lights on side
Chassis
-all aluminum V8 with fuel injection
-5 speed manual transmission/ or automatic
-newer 4x4 transfercase
-Independent Front Suspension with ABS
-4 inch suspension lift
Body
Top
-New smoother Fiberglass hardtop with no drip rail
-Intergrated off road lights
-Heavy Duty roof rack and front air spoiler
Doors
-one piece Door glass
-newer mirrors
-shaved door handles
(little alcove in between door and rear quarter for push button on door)
-hinges redesigned to be more proment
Fenders
-Re shape the fender lips to be more modern/fender flare-ish
-running light flushed into seams and body lines of the panels
Grille
-elongated honeycome design in center grille opening
-grille smoother and more modern
Hood
-reskin with a more muscular form slightly taller features
Winshield
-Flushmount windshield (no gasket)
-black out wiperblades
Bumpers
-More rugged, modular, and modern design
Interior
-Custom more modern but rugged features
