Hi all, jpiwo here. Right now I drive an 18 Durango RT. Planning on my next vehicle being an EV, was immediately drawn to the scout when I heard about it. I grew up with a good friend's dad having a scout and always thought it was awesome. Just trying to learn as much as I can before jumping in.

Toyota FJ cruiser
Hi guys. I did a thing yesterday !! I decided what I want next! I just hopped on the list for a traveler harvester. It will replace my Toyota FJ cruiser as my primary vehicle. (May keep the FJ, TBD).

Iā€™ve had a Chevy volt in the past. (Which is now my daughterā€™s car.) So i appreciate electric with gas backup. Iā€™ve also had corvettes in the past, so I like power too!

The traveler checks a lot of boxes. It will be the ultimate empty nest adventure mobile for us. Itā€™s like bronco/landcruiser type of vehicle. But electric. Like a bronco and tesla Y had a baby! šŸ˜‚ electric with a gas generator range extender for trips. And I love that they are putting it behind the rear axle (where a spare would normally go). So it will still have a frunk.

1) Fast (0-60 in 3.5, that beats my old corvette Z06)

2) fully electric with enough range for my daily commute + errands and charge at home = cheap fuel costs (rolling off the coal plant lol) . But no range anxiety for road trips or remote mountain trails.

3) off-road capable with body on frame, 35ā€ tires, lockers, sway bar disconnect. etc YES!!!

4) love the sliding ragtop convertible roof. Biggest complaint with FJ is Toyota did not design in any convertibility.

5) lots of room. SUV hatch and a frunk.

6) power anywhere. Plug in tools when working. Lights and appliances and tv when camping.

7) tows 7000lbs. So I can pull a camper or a racecar

8) MURICA!! Itā€™s all American made in SC. But parent company is VW. Which already has experience with electric cars. So hopefully no bugs.

The FJ has 240k miles. Several out there with over 400k. So I know it will get me a couple more years. Iā€™m going to start throwing a little extra into a car fund now so Iā€™ll have a big down payment when itā€™s ready.

Iā€™m excited!! šŸ˜Š

Hello all. Iā€™m an Idaho backcountry hunter, fisherman, and father.
I also run a small elk hunting company. Iā€™m in the vast minority of my peers in that I actually love what the EV world is bringing to trucks in capability.

I have ordered the BEV only Terra. That also seems to put me in the minority of all pre orders. I look forward to discussing these decisions and other topics on this forum.

Ram 1500
Hi everyone from Miami FL.
My daily drive is a 2017 RAM 1500. This is my first truck and I love it. The sound that comes from that 5.7 Hemi is beautiful.
I made a reservation for the RAM REV but Stellanties is so far behind in EV technology that I decided to get my money back and that is when I discover the Scout just a few weeks ago.
I felt in love with it, so guess where the $100 dollars from the RAM reservation is going. I want to use that same money for the Scout reservation which is the Terra Harvester.
I have never gone off roading and I think Scout will be the perfect rig for it.
I'm planning a trip to Denver CO and hit the trails for the first time in my life. I'm still deciding if doing Imogene pass or Engineering pass.
I'll let you know as soon as I put my reservation.

Hey there! I also had a reservation on the Ram REV. Life happened. Didnā€™t follow through on it. Iā€™ve never owned an EV of any variety. Excited about this one.

Just joined the Scout (Traveler Harvester). wait list club. Iā€™m looking forward to how this truck evolves. I have owned a couple of Teslas and expect the onboard generator to be a huge jump in capability

Greetings Everyone!
Owner of a 2019 Raptor and Tesla X & 3. If the Raptor and X had a baby, it would be the Scout lol.
I ordered the Traveler Harvester the day after announcement in Oct. but recently put a deposit on the Terra Harvester as well.

Subaru Forester, Rivian R1S
Hello from Idaho, I'm a retired engineer. When I retired in 2007 I bought the new 4 door Jeep Wrangler. Drove that thing for 15 years and enjoyed every fishing/camping/hunting trip I took. Finally gave that to my son last year and bought a 2024 Rivian R1S. I really like it. It is one cool vehicle and also really enjoyable to drive. I also own a 2022 Subaru Wilderness Forester and I like it a lot. Then I saw the new Scout Traveler Harvester. What a cool vehicle and the extender is really a neat feature. I have been wanting to go to the American Prairie Reserve for years now. The Subaru would just not be big enough for an extended trip. The Rivian would not work due to range issues and remoteness of the Reserve. The Scout Harvester would work great, especially with a couple Gerry cans of gas. I will probably get rid of the Forester when the Scout gets here. The two thinkgs I really like about the Scout are the toggle switches and the bench seat. My 48 year old son does not agree with me on that. I am sure my age plays into that. So, I am going to enjoy my last few years and buy the vehicles that appeal to me and that I want to experience owning. You only live once and you can't take it with you. The Best to all of you.

2017 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 Diesel
Howdy y'all! I reserved a Traveler EV back in January. I'm excited to finally get a fully electric vehicle. I currently drive a 2017 Chevy Colorado Z71 with the 2.8 diesel motor. It's a great little truck, and I plan to keep it along with the Scout. The hope is to use the Traveler as my everyday driver and for relatively nearby (in Texas) trips. I'll probably keep using the 'Rado for long distance off-roading type trips. I'm looking forward to the electric experience! Nice to meet y'all!

Hey everyone!

Iā€™m from Miami, FL, and currently own a 2017 RAM 1500, which I might sell once my Scout Terra arrives.
I just reserved my Terra, and I couldnā€™t be more excited!
I only recently discovered the brand, but after learning about its history, VWā€™s backing, and its new focus on electrification, it all clicked for me. Now, Iā€™m thrilled to be part of the Scout community!

2022 Toyota Tundra, 2022 VW ID4
Good evening all! I live in the Nashville, TN area and currently drive a 2022 Tundra and a 2022 VW ID4, which is my daily driver to work.

I reserved a Traveler w/Harvester, which should be able to handle my daily driver as well as hauling the family down to the coast for vacations or going back home to Mississippi on occasion. Really looking forward to seeing Scout evolve over the next couple of years. Nice to be here in this community!

2023 GMC Sierra AT4, 2023 Chevrolet Blazer
Hello!
I live in Northeast Arkansas and currently drive a 2023 GMC Sierra AT4 w/ 3.0 Duramax.
In the past I've driven anything from a single cab Silverado, to a Z71 Tahoe, to a Denali HD. GM products run in my blood, but I am very interested in what Scout is bringing to the market.

I currently have a Traveler reserved with the Harvester package, but I am not entirely sure that I won't go with the Terra. If I keep the Sierra around as a second vehicle I will choose the Traveler. However, if is decide to sell the Sierra and go all in on the Scout I will have to opt for the Terra as a pickup truck is a must for me.

This will be my first electric vehicle. Any advice is much appreciated!

Hello to all. I have been following the EV "revolution" for a while now and am excited to have reserved a Terra Gas/Electric to replace my aging Nissan TItan (extreme gas guzzler). I hope to be able to say I am "driving on sunshine" given the solar PV system on my house that is currently producing more than I am using.

I have held off on other EVs being unconvinced one needs to drive around with a very heavy battery capable of 300+ miles. I believe Scout has it right with a smaller battery and separate gasoline powered generator for more range. This is also intriguing as it appears to eliminate to mechanical complexity of blending traditional power transmission with the electric motor.
