A big selling point for me is the capability of what I can remotely control in my vehicles. Mainly, I would love to be able to remotely set the cabin temperature. A cold NJ morning like today really makes me wish for the ability to say "I'm leaving my house at 6AM and when I get in the car, I would like the vehicle to ensure the temperature is at X degrees and the heated seat is on."

Continuing on with the interior, I know a lot of us buy dash cams for our vehicles, but I'm not a fan of having a messy wire dangling down or running across my cabin so if there's a possibility of integrating a dash cam like the latest Land Cruiser did or the Teslas do, that would be pretty neat!

Thank you :)

Along the camera request... A mechanical button to access the camera feature quickly, without having to dig through a pile of screens and menus. ( F150 Lightning XLT trim - not available in higher trims with the larger screens that I am aware of)

Moonroof powered shade
Reverse Down Tilt mirrors
Power tailgate (up/down)
Good stereo (Meridian or B&W)
Heat/AC seats
Massage seats (optional)
Memory Seat and steering wheel
Easy exit
Air suspension (optional)
***Rear wheel steering assist*** I know the poll says otherwise
Some form of retractable smart tonneau cover (powered or otherwise)
Rear/Front camera washer
Rear seat bench storage that's accessible with seats down (like a slide drawer or open storage)
Tidal and Dolby Atmos support
Summon into and out of parking spot (like a 25' roll in and out)
Handsfree highway driving

That should be a good first start.

I want to keep cost down, but one thing I'd like to see (and would pay for) is some sort of partition functionality to separate the cargo area from the seating area. Could simply be cargo net attachments for a net that otherwise covered the floor off the cargo area or back of the back seat... Two hooks detach and hook to the ceiling to form a barrier for dogs, cargo, etc...

imo, the stuff you have to interact with daily is more important than the stuff you use infrequently. that being said here's what i would like to see Scout spend priority on:
  • Comfortable seats - well bolstered, multi-adjustable, cooled/heated
  • Premium Audio - unless you have an elite sound engineering team, go with a known brand
  • High quality cameras and integrated dashcam - see Rivian Gen1 for reference (not good)
  • Driver assistance at the level of Supercruise, Bluecruise or Autopilot - doesn't have to be great at launch but have foresight to put in the right h/w so it can expand over time - see Rivian Gen1 for reference (not good)
  • Solid working wireless charger - see Rivian Gen1 for reference (not good)
  • Quiet cabin (minimal wind/road noise that can easily plague EVs) - see Rivian Gen1 for reference (not good)

I support the:

Reverse Down Tilt mirrors

And may I add darkening said mirrors just like your rear-view mirror automatically? If you havve a car/truck behind you with badly adjusted lights this makes a huge different. Coming from BMWs that had these features decades ago, I wish ther rest of the world adjusted faster.

Also, I'd like:

Dog Mode

So if I leave the dog in the car, the car automatically barks to let folks know that if you break the window I will eat you. Just kidding, I'd like a remote temperature monitor, and to be able to set the car temp to a certain degree and maintain it while shopping for food, etc. Tesla has dog mode, probably Rivian, too.

Now, as to "comfortable seats", "quiet cabin", "premium audio", those are sadly subjective. What you may like may not be remotely good for me. I'll give you an example: I just sold my Toyota 4Runner, because for me the seats were unbearable. I'm just 5'7", but I have long legs, and didn't pay attention before getting the car that the seat cushion reaches to 3/4 of my leg.

So instead we could get an adjustable seat front, so if you need it longer, you can make it longer. Again, BMW did this.

Quiet cabin? I love my For F150 cabin, I think it's quiet, but who knows if you'd all agree.

Now the premium audio system for me is JL Audio or Burmester, Bowers and Wilkins. lol Not Bang and Olufsen. But the Fender audio in a VW Alltrack was pretty snazzy in the small cabin.

So you see it's not that easy for them to do this, plus to keep the costs down, and not want to make the board happy.
