I would suggest that the Scout be designed WITHOUT the auto stop safety feature when the vehicle's driver's side door is open. This feature does not allow one to drive with the driver's side door open, thus you cannot open the door and look down at the ground while moving.

Granted this may be irrelevant if the Scout has 360° cameras.

Would you prefer the Scout with or without the auto stop safety feature when the vehicle's driver's side door is open?

Every vehicle I've been in with this feature (Ford and Dodge), will allow you to open the door and then put the truck in reverse/drive without stopping you. The issue is if you are in reverse/drive and then open the door, it will go to park. I'm not a huge fan of the feature, but it will be legislation eventually, so you might as well focus on an implementation that still allows you to get the job done.

NO. Sometimes you need to back up 2" for trailer, or something stupid. Just let us do what people do and operate without restrictions. While we are at it, how about quick disconnect doors? Take them off like a jeep!! I had no doors on my scout 2 which was nice. But my guess is these doors will weigh a bit more.

You will see some form of this, it's a liability issue.

My Jeep has it, but a connected seat belt overrides it.
