Saw a heritage blue LC250 yesterday and while I couldn’t park right next to it, my friends and I noticed the blue was noticeably different. The LC appears more muted and dusty blue and 4r looks more saturated. Just an observation that I thought was interesting.

Technically they’re supposed to be the same, right? They’re both called “Heritage Blue”, so it should be the same color? I saw a LC recently and used that as reference for my incoming 4R.

You would think but they are absolutely different in person. Makes me nervous for touch up paint etc….

I wonder if that's a factory difference? You'd have to compare a Tahara made LC to a 4Runner. That could be a Hamura made one.

In theory yeah that shouldn't make a difference as they should be the same color. Legit concern about the touchup paint.

looking at the color code for the LC250 and 4R, they both use 8x0 color code.

I find that it depends on the lighting. Sometimes mine looks more blue and other time more gray.

While these two trucks were parked directly next to one another, they were only 20-30 feet apart and absolutely different colors. I am going to make a point to find one in the wild and park next to it for science
