Finally got an offer for this and wondering if it's a good deal. It is an MSRP but it has additional add-ons that I truly do not need ($1600). Out the door price is $66,400 (all fees and taxes included), do I suck it up and buy it or wait?

My highest budget is $65,500 out the door, not sure its worth trying to negotiate down to it.

You might be able to negotiate the removal of the port installed accessories. The other stuff, I doubt it.

My $0.02.

It was still in Japan when I spoke to them and they only could remove a couple of them. But the remaining you see on the sheet is going to stick when it get here next month.

Feel lucky I can get MSRP but idk if its worth to pulling the trigger on it or trying to get it close to my budget.

66,400 is including taxes? Factory and port installed options they will never budge on. They wouldn’t even take the cross bars off mine.

Dealer installed accessoires is a different thing, but looks like that’s not the case on this one. I think it’s a take it or leave it thing, and there will be enough people that will take it.

Yup $66,400 out the door with taxes, dealer fees etc. I would even push up my budget to $66,000 but idk if its even worth trying to negotiate down $400.

Worth it to ask, but I think the answer is no. People are lining up for these cars. Depends where you’re located maybe.

Maybe early adopters, but not the regular masses. I don’t think your typical 4Runner enthusiast is enthusiastic about 60-70k for a 4Runner.

I have an offer for my 2024 4Runner Off-road at $53,600. That’s quite a bit more than I paid for it. Should I sell it?

$400 in the big picture is small change. Plus you are probably making plenty on your old one. I vote do it or if you really want to minimize the cost, wait 6-12 months.

Of course, your existing 4runner may drop in value in that time too.

They have a couple of 2025 trail hunters on the lot sitting at the moment

You've left out important details. What's the line-item breakdown that gets from $61324 to $66400.

Google says Delaware is one of a few states with no sales tax on new cars, so there seems to be perhaps thousands in dealer-installed bloat or profit-padding in that final number.

But as others have noted, it's early in the market for 4runners. If you pass, there's a line of people that will buy it.

None of us know your financial situation. Only you should decide if you can and should exceed your budget, not "internet peer pressure."

Hi there. For what it's worth, I have a TRD Pro coming in and it was loaded up with Port Installed Options, like the $1,700 roof rack and other things I didn't need. At that point, it was just going into build in Japan and wasn't on the ship yet. The dealer had all the PIO's removed that I wanted and added in a few others I did want. If your dealer is saying they can't do that, it's BS. They won't be able to remove the moonroof, but any option listed as a PIO, they 100% can remove.

Also, @Hacksaw made a good point, if there isn't sales tax on a car in Delaware, where is the additional $6k or so coming from? Definitely dig into that.

Are you a repeat buyer from that dealer?
