Electrochromic Glass Roof Option - Panoramic "Smart Glass"

Would like to see an electrochromic glass roof option. The VW ID Buzz and ID.7 both have "Electrochromic Smart Glass Roof" option now so the technology is available for Scout Motors to easily adopt for the glass roof on the Traveler and Terra.

I'm all for this. It's the best of both worlds since it gives you flexibility based on how sunny it is outside. And much better than tinting which obviously only gives you one look and level of brightness.

On the ID.Buzz it's a $1,495 option and it's a big panoramic glass piece, so I would guess that this option on the Scout wouldn't cost more than that.

Would definitely go for this option. We had to add a big shade in our Model X. Living in Florida does not go well with big overhead glass that doesn't have a way to cut down the sun.

id prefer a motorized roof shade instead. simpler and cheaper. that glass is a nice party trick and thats it.

Per another post: no electro screen it was too expensive, the glass roof will come with a retractable shade
