I just leased a Lightning standard range (98kW) so I'm experiencing this charging now. Using the mobile adapter that came with the truck I'm pulling 1.2kW on a regular wall plug adding 2.5 miles per hour of charging overnight which is actually sufficient for my daily commute.
I'm waiting for...
I reserved a Terra Harvester but recently traded my gas F150 in for a Lightning standard range. As I'm adapting to EV life, I'm open to changing my reservation. Still leaning EREV, but more on the fence after Jay's interview.
1-UP HD hitch rack has been the go-to for our crew with the switch to ebikes. Super simple and stable but the spare tire on the Traveler could be an issue.
On the Terra - I'd like to see the rear camera usable with the tailgate down, whether simply keeping it in the bumper or having a secondary one on top of the gate like Super Duty. Even with a 6.5' bed on my F150, I'm hauling stuff with the tailgate down regularly.
Current rig is a '15 F150 XLT SuperCrew, 6.5' bed, FX4, bench seat, pano roof, 600+ miles of range. This spec isn't available from any manufacturer anymore so as much as I'd like to go electrified, I'd have to sacrifice a lot of what the old girl still gives me. The Terra with the Harvester...
Will replace a '15 F150 which will have well over 200k miles by then. I've been waiting for the second generation of electrified trucks to arrive and the Terra Harvester looks to be the step I've been waiting for.
