I don’t want it I. The frunk, as I access it far more than I will the motor. Pay someone to change the oil and filter and be done with it. If you like to tinker with motors, this isn’t the vehicle for you.
Interesting how many people think those of that want a harvester don’t really need one. One actually said we are being dishonest with ourselves…lol. I have EV today and any trip over 150 miles one way sucks to the point that I take one of my other vehicles. Harvester will be a game changer...
As a Rivian owner, the harvester is a GameChanger. Today, uI can easily get 300 mile range unless it winter, then more like 225. But I won’t but another pure EV until much better infostructure is in place. Difficult to find working high speed chargers, time to charge still takes way to...
Every one pedal driver always has a brake option. If you come in hot, hit brake it still works. Would the option in the poll be to turn the regen completely off? If that is what you desire, be prepared to lose 20% of your mileage range. Once you get used to one pedal driving, you’ll...
You know exactly? LOL… Most EREV are made primarily in China today. On average they are $4,200 less than full EV.

150 mile range electric only (ev+gas) vs 350 mile range (ev only). 42%. = 58% less battery.
Also, the ram REV 1500 and gas/electric have exactly the same towing capacity and virtually the same payload. Ram chose to use a V6 penstar for the generator.
As a R1T owner, I despise the software. Have to do a reset about once a month. The design is about as poor as it could be. Disappointed to see the former head of UX at Rivian is now at Scout.
How could it possibly reduce payload or towing ? 60% of the battery will be removed and replaced by a small light weight engine. The electric/gas will weigh slightly less than the electric only. The source of horsepower and torque will not change.
