I don't see how a 100-HP-ish will avoid any of the regular maintenance of a ICE engine. The intervals will likely be longer (especially if you mostly drive in EV mode), but it's still an ICE engine as a generator.

Well you should see the amount of levelling they've done for the plant... It's MASSIVE. I work about 2-½ miles from there so I see it frequently.

Parts interchangeability. That's why the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator share a lot of parts, including the cut-away rear doors on both of them (the Gladiator doesn't need them). Reduces manufacturing costs when parts are shared.
