I’m a ham radio operator, providing emergency comms. Does anyone know about concerns and possibilities of mounting mobile radios in an EV?

I love my Bronco Sport Badlands. One problem is the sunroof greatly reduces the weight you can carry on top safely. An issue for RTT, kayaks, etc. Will either scout support roof racks and with those windows, will carrying weight be compromised?
