    Surprised I'm seeing no mention of the Ford 3 Cyl Ecoboost as a possible RE mill. This is the motor that fits in less space than a carry-on bag and puts out 100kW. A refinement of this motor seems like a well packaged, cheap, and more repairable option than a lot of the suggestions. Of course...
