I have never been a big off roader. I like to drive the fire trails and two tracks, and play around on unplowed roads when it snows. I just wonder how well a heavy electric vehicle will do in the snow? My main use will really be to get around when it snows. I don't really have a lot of desire...

I am interested in knowing if the range extender could be used to charge the batteries if the Scout is not running? Say for instance you go to a restaurant, and you need a charge. Could you leave the gas generator run with the vehicle locked, and charge it up while you are having dinner? Thanks.
