    Not sure if I'd conclude it is running "Rivian's full software stack", since Scout's been in development for a while now, and Rivian's VW arrangement was more recent. I wonder if Scout's OS is yet another Android-based OS similar to Rivian's. I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if Rivian's VW...

  3. Range Extender can be turned off / disabled via menu setting screen

    Seems like a significant amount of compromise to be able to handle niche scenarios, where EV charging/planning isn't an option. Not a tradeoff that I'd personally make, but I can understand there would be folks that may want the option.

    Curious why the screens inside the orange SUV shows a blue truck 🙂. In any case, software looks polished enough that they could've done a controlled demo at launch. Anyone knows if this software stack already benefits from Rivian's arrangement with VW, or if future Scout software will have that?
