I agree. I had only heard the 150 mile part and maybe I misinterpreted it. Makes much more sense that it would start well before you need it and I wasn’t aware you could turn it off.
I have seen the discussions here that the smaller harvester battery will give estimate of 150 mile range and then the generator will get you 500 total (so 350 mile additional estimate). Either the original battery estimate is incorrect or the generator has to be very efficient to recharge the...
I was hoping it would be 250 range electric and basically a full charge via generator for another 250 miles for the total of 500 mile ideal range. My Tesla has 360 mile full charge (ideal) which works for most days. But 150 mile will not be adequate for me.
Unable to open video for some reason. Wonder if there would be consideration to a diesel powered generator for more efficiency? Uncertain if that is even possible or safe! Not my area of expertise for sure but would potentially allow further mileage before filling up.
Good morning and thank you for the addition to the group. I have been driving electric for 14 years having gone through first generation Volt prior to two Tesla model S. Previously had reservations for Rivian and Cybertruck but pulled them for various reasons (charging network, failed delivery...
